This is mega easy recipe and you can „stuff“ your super bread bowl with whatever you like (or have in the fridge).
It should be sufficient as main meal for two people but it’s perfect snack when you have friends visiting.
Super Bread Bowl
For this particular recipe I used:
- round bread
- 2 onions
- 300 g sour cream
- 1 sausage
- 200 g cheese (I used Edam)
Cut the top of the bread to form a lid.
Take the breadcrumbs out so you leave 1 cm thick layer all over the bread.
Fry the square sliced sausage with square sliced onion until onion turns golden.
Put the pan aside, add grated cheese and mix it well.
Fill the bread with the mixture and grate some more cheese at the top.
Bake the bread uncovered and place the lid next to it ( you can bake the breadcrumbs too, but I didn’t, because it was freash and soft and yummy) in preheated oven at 180- 200°C for 15 minutes until the cheese melts.
I served it at large plate with the breadcrumbs, chilli, pepper, tomato and cucumber.
